Breda Stack
My name is Breda Stack and I’ve lived in Limerick for most of my life. Although I hadn’t painted since Leaving Cert Art, I found myself continually looking at Impressionist work and imagining a paintbrush in my hand, so I finally returned to art class in 2018. I founded Lightbridge Art as the home of my artwork in 2020.
Using acrylics on canvas, I love to create vibrant abstract artwork that makes people think and feel – these “Soul Visions” offer healing messages. Reiki has been very influential; I find expressing intuitively through colour and energy very moving. Painting makes me feel free like nothing else.
As well as my original paintings, I also produce limited-edition giclée prints. Many of my paintings have been awarded and featured in international art competitions, juried shows and live exhibitions, including KROMATICA at MADS Art Gallery, Milan. I’ve also been awarded the Collector’s Vision International Art Award and the Power of Creativity Art Prize.
