Eilis Kavanagh 

I am a landscape artist based in Kildare. My work is inspired by the beauty of the local countryside and bog lands where I live, the West of Ireland and my various Camino Trips. My collection is a personal response to the scenes I encounter. I am motivated by the need to paint for my own pleasure and hope that my paintings will speak to those who view them.

I am actively involved in the Art Scene in Kildare. I identified the need and sourced a space for Local Artists to showcase their work back in 2018 and continue as the facilitator and curator for the successful PopUpArt Newbridge collective which had exhibited thrice yearly in Newbridge Town hall up to the onset of Coved 19.

Despite Covid, I established the successful popupartnewbridge.com virtual Gallery in June 2021 and successfully organised, coordinated and ran 4 well received PopUpArt Newbridge exhibitions during 2021.
