I am a Limerick artist, born and reared. Always loved drawing & doodling, enjoying it even more at secondary school. I spent a year in art College, chose ceramics as my discipline, which I felt at the end of the year I wasn't good enough at, so I left. Took up painting at evening classes years later as a young mum and continued when I could.
I won a Paint Bertie competition in a newspaper and got to last 16 in Richard Harris international portrait competition. I helped out at The Gallery on Bedford row for few years selling my artwork there as well, which I miss and feel is a big loss to the city. We have so many wonderful artists in our city,we need a venue to display.
I still try to paint every week and like to keep in touch with fellow artists. I have painted lots of portraits, some movie scenes, pets and anything that takes my interest. I've painted many commissions also want to experiment with bright, colourful and quirky styles in the near future.
